Banana You’ll need a food processor to make this delicious and healthy ice cream substitute. It’s so simple – all you need are frozen bananas and a little almond milk or even regular milk is totally fine. Ingredients: 2 bananas that have been peeled, cut into chunks and frozen. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup almond milk or low-fat cow’s milk Directions: Add the bananas to a food processor and puree for about two minutes, adding the milk as needed, until the bananas are creamy, similar to frozen yogurt or soft-serve ice cream. Scoop into bowls (recipe makes about 3 servings). Top with fresh fruit, nuts or even a little chocolate syrup. Nutrition Information: Each serving has: 113 calories 28 grams carbohydrates 3 grams fiber 1 gram protein One serving has about 6 percent of your daily need for calcium and about 17 percent of your need for vitamin C.
